Job Title: Senior Analyst, Customer Support

Location: Toronto, ON

Biography: Born and raised in Fortaleza, Brazil, I moved to Canada back in 2009 and have always lived in Toronto. I joined Cority as a Customer Support Analyst in December 2015 and moved on to Senior Customer Support Analyst in January 2017. I have over 13 years of experience in the technical customer support field and before joining Cority, I worked with other tech companies providing technical and functional support on their platforms, as well as providing training on those systems. 

Q: What do you love most about your job at Cority?

Being able to talk to our clients and assist them with their questions. Helping them navigate through the Cority platform brings me immense satisfaction and it really puts a smile on my face.
 

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work hours?

Play video games and read.
 

Q: What is the last book you’ve read?

Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow by Yuval Noah Harari
 

Q: If you could switch roles with someone in the company for a day, who would you switch with and why?

Pre-sales. I think it would be interesting to see how they present our platform to prospective clients.
 

Q: What’s your biggest pet peeve?

People not being considerate to others on public transit.


Q: What is one achievement or experience at Cority that you’re most proud of?

Being awarded the Balcom Award earlier this year at Cority Connect. It’s a summary of all the effort and dedication I put into my work and it’s a statement to my commitment to our clients and to Cority.
 

Q: If you were given $40,000 to start your own business, what kind of business would you start?

I would start an adventure-focused travel agency.
 

Q: Tell us something that not many people know about you

I am addicted to Lego and I had to give some of my sets away because I had no more room to store or display them.
