Donation marks Medgate’s continued commitment to giving back to the community
Toronto, ON (January 30, 2017) – Medgate, the global leader in providing enterprise-grade, SaaS-based Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) risk management solutions, has donated $8,000.00 to the Refugee Career Jumpstart Project.
Every year Medgate employees raise money for charity at their annual holiday party, and Medgate generously matches the money raised. These donations are a part of Medgate’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community through charitable events, volunteering, and donations. Medgate offers Employee Volunteer Days where groups of employees go into the community to volunteer for a wide array of non-profit organizations. They also host events throughout the year where they raise funds for a number of different causes.
“We’re all quite proud of the work Medgate and our employees do to give back to the community,” said Medgate President Mark Wallace. “Our guiding corporate mission is to get employees home safe to their loved ones every day – whether that is through companies using our software, or through our support for community involvement and charitable giving initiatives. The Refugee Career Jumpstart Project is a particularly special organization as it helps Syrian refugees find meaningful work while they settle into life in Canada. Medgate is a diverse, multicultural organization and we will continue to support inspiring organizations like The Refugee Jumpstart Project.”
