‘Twas just before the Holidays, when all through the facility,
Many employees were stirring, with great agility.
The orders were coming from here and from there,
In hopes that last minute PO’s would make it by Air.
Many in corporate were planning ahead,
While visions of bonuses danced in their head.
With Finance in year-end and Sales on their toes,
Shipping was scampering to fill orders by close.
When out of Production there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my office to see what was the matter.
Away to the shop floor, I flew like a flash,
Swearing and cursing and being quite brash.
The buzz of production employees hustling below,
Gave the indication of something not right in the flow.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
An EHS manager scurrying to heighten my fears.
With a little tablet device being used with authority,
I knew in a moment it must be myCority!
More rapid than IoT technology evolution,
He shouted and called them all by solution:
“Now, HEALTH! Now, SAFETY! Now, QUALITY and ENVIRONMENTAL!
On ANALYTICS! On MOBILE! Otherwise detrimental!
To the beginning of production! To the dock door!
Now protect our products, our employees, our environment and more!”
As incidents and issues surface despite,
Cority implements CAPAs to make things right.
So up through the workflows corrections were done,
And MOCs were implemented so deviations were none.
As training was done and SOPs saved in Doc Control,
Now Continuous Improvement was achieved as a goal!
As the EHS manager let out a sigh,
He gathered his tablet and decided to fly.
But we heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
